Very new to this open source and Ubuntu my many grey hairs also make it difficult for the equally many grey cells to take it all in. I have loaded Ubuntu and sorted out my emails using evolution and can get on the net both wired and wireless. I must have done something wrong when updateing using update manager and now get a error screen reading as follows E: dpkg was interupted, you must manually run ‘dpkg –configure -a’ to correct the problem. Trouble is I do not know how to do this can you help. the error message also reads E: cache->open()failed,please report again not sure wat to do. Many thanks in anticipation of help I hope that I am in the right place to ask as I say I am very new to this game…
